The Starving Artist Creperie & Cafe
When you walk into the Starving Artist Café there’s plenty to look at. The walls are covered with paintings and pictures for sale from local artists, the coffee is great, and the menu is something to behold. I wasn’t able to get a picture of the main dining room since it was full, but there were probably 30 people in there eating and sipping on Barrington’s Berkshire blend which is a nice medium roast. There is free Wi-Fi, a comfortable couch to sit on (if you are so lucky to grab a seat), and it’s right on Main Street which make it very convenient to browse through all of the neat shops.
For something to do outside, Lee has plenty of options. I would suggest October Mountain State Forest which is just out of town to the northeast. October Mountain itself has an elevation of 1962 feet which makes it an easy/moderate hike that most can enjoy on their way to a great day in Western Massachusetts.
Overall, I would rate The Starving Artist Creperie and Café a 4.5 out of 5
