Woke Breakfast & Coffee
Woke Breakfast & Coffee is a great breakfast/lunch spot but not what I would call a purist café. There is no problem with that, I’m just simply rating based off coffee and other drinks, more so than the food. I did have the Crepes and Churros which is pictured below, those were amazing, I must say. I also had what they recommended, the Butterfly Lemonade, which is a combination of blue colored herbal teas, ice, and lemonade. That was great as well. So food wise, awesome place. For the coffee, however I almost got that “diner taste” which is passable but not what I’m looking for. I did not ask where they got their beans from or maybe it was just too watery. While I would happily eat here for breakfast and lunch, I would not recommend it as a coffee stop. In addition, they have no Wi-Fi which is even more indicative that this is a restaurant and not a café.
There’s not much around these parts that’s super challenging, but Nathan Hale State Forest is a fun medium sized reserve with plenty of trails, rivers, and small hills. Upon entering the forest you will see the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum, the Coventry Farmer’s Market is also held there on Sunday’s from June-October, 10:00am-1:00pm.
Overall, I would rate Woke Breakfast and Coffee a 4.2 out of 5
